Metro Isan is the new design concept of Somtum Der, developed by Saran Yenpanya who was in charge of creating a fun-loving ambience at Ruay Mitr Boiled Rice. This time, Saran drew inspiration from truck art which expresses homesickness of Isan truck drivers who are longing for the familiar sight of rural landscape. Saran has adapted truck art and transformed it to match perfectly with Somtum Der’s DNA of being classic, fun and casual.

It is unquestionable that the experience of flavorful food and drinks will be incomplete without music that is equally fun. DJ Bomber Selecta, whose playlists are big hit at Ruay Mitr, is creating a unique playlist, especially for Somtum Der. It combines loong tung and molam mixing with T-Pop and fun Western tunes that everyone can sing along.

The new Somtum Der, Sala Daeng will be a friendly dining space to hang out at lunch or before heading home after a long day or a starting point of a long night of bar hopping in Silom / Sathorn area.
